NEW RICHMOND — Glen Mason Thorn, 77, of New Richmond, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006 in a Welch hospital following a long illness.
Born April 17, 1929, at Dott, he was the son of the late Grover C. and Vernie (Bailey) Thorn.
Mr. Thorn was a former employee of Deerfield Tipple and a member of the New Richmond Chapel.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ada and Nina Thorn and Addie Rhodes; four brothers, Harry, Earl, Clyde and Herbert Thorn.
Those left to cherish his memory include a sister, Viola O'Donnell of Princeton; a brother, Carl Thorn and his wife Fern of New Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Adkins and the Rev. Larry England officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery at Rock.
