Fred Butler, age 91, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

He was born February 24, 1919, to Alfred and Lora (Hammack) Butler in Roscoe, TX.

He served in the US Navy in WW II.

He married Ouida Tatum on January 12, 1937, in Sweetwater, TX.

He was a plant operator for El Paso Products for 35 years.

He was a long-time member of Crescent Park Baptist Church and more recently of First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Ouida Butler of Odessa; his son, his daughters, his sisters, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Gardens

Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
