Betty Ann Bryan, age 80, of Swanton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 28, 2015, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born August 6, 1934, to Leo and Mary (DeMille) Uyttenhove.

She was the valedictorian of her St. Mary High School class of 1953, offered Foster Care services for nearly two decades to children in need and was a caregiver to seniors. None can compare to her homemade lasagnas and lemon meringue pies.

Betty was devoted to her family and always placed their needs above her own. She touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.

Betty is survived by her son, James Bryan; foster daughter, Jackie Roberts; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah) Bryan and Tiffany (Matthew) Laney; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hallie and Kenley Bryan and Austin Laney, and brothers, Roger and Ronald Uyttenhove. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary Uyttenhove; brothers, Richard and Robert Uyttenhove, and son, Keith Bryan.
