WALKER, Mabel Ruth Graves, 80, Tiplersville, died October 3, 2010 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was born August 3, 1930 in Tippah County to the late Thomas Lee and Lillie Jewel Curle Graves. She was a retired EKG technician for Tippah County Hospital and a Baptist. Services were October 6 at 11 am in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tiplersville Cemetery. Bro Edd McCafferty officiated. Survivors include three daughters, Dianne Taylor (Dennis), McKenzie, TN, Judy Meeks (Jimmy), Tiplersville, and Pam Akins, Ripley; one son, Rickie Holmes (Rhonda), Sherman; 12 grandchildren, Buford Taylor (Krista) Lori McDade (Eric), Matt Holmes, Mandy Caviness (Bryan), Morgan Akins (Leigh), Lisa Hall (Kevin), Jessie Meeks, Neal Meeks (Jackie), Ben Meeks, Sarah Harrington (Jonathan), Lee Meeks (Stephanie), and Ryan Meeks; 20 ggrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Joseph Walker; her parents; three brothers, J.C. Graves, Bonnie Graves, and Curtis Graves. Pallbearers were Phillip Palmer, Bobby Walker, Larry Davis, Bobby Goode, Benny Walker and Raymond Jackson.
