WILLIAM P., age 72, of 199 Bowman Street, husband of Nannie Hayes Booz, father of Mrs. Tom Hempfield, Mrs. Richard Poling and Mrs. Jay Bard passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon. Now at the Jones Memorial were friends may call and where services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by Dr. W. M. Taylor, pastor or the Park Avenue Baptist Church. FORMER O-B WORKER DIES
William P. Booz, 72, a veteran of the Spanish-American war, died unexpectedly at his home, 199 Bowman Street, Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Booz was born in Zanesville Feb.14, 1877 and had lived in Mansfield for the past 43
Years. He had been an employee of the Ohio Brass Company for 35 years.
Surviving are his wife, Nannie Hayes Booz; three daughters, Mrs. Tom (Mildred) Hempfield and Mrs. Richard (Lillian) Poling of Mansfield, and Mrs. Jay (Elizabeth Jean) Bard of Shenandoah, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Memorial Saturday at 3 p.m. in charge of the service is Dr. W. M. Taylor, pastor of the Park Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
