Born on November 16, 1927 in Manhattan, he was the son of John C. and Irene Barry Larkin. He was the husband of the late Virginia (nee Smith).
Mr. Larkin worked as a Longshoreman, and was a member of the International Longshoreman's Association. He also was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II.
Survivors include his brother Robert Larkin of Warwick, two sisters Florence Ruffini of Syracuse, and Eileen Fogarty of Raleigh, NC and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother John Larkin, sister Mary Fisher, and brother William Larkin
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday May 1, 2005 at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick.
Cremation is private."
