Mrs. Laura A. Miller, 75, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Hamprecht, after being in failing health for the past six months. Infirmities of age was the cause of death.
A native of Walbridge, she was born September 21, 1862, the daughter of James and Sarah Scott. She lived on East Lincoln street for a number of years until she moved to Toledo eight years ago.
She married May 27, 1884, to Frank Miller, who died three years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ed Hamprecht, at whose home she died; Mrs. E.A. Crossman, Toledo, and Mrs. George Stewart, Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Mary Thatcher, Toledo; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Five children preceded her in death.
The funeral services were held at the Barnhart funeral home. Rev. W.E. Turner, pastor of the College Church of God, officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
