Born May 26, 1922, in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Fred L. and Alta Faust Steele. A homemaker, Mrs. Beitsch was a member of the Monaca Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and was an active member of New Brighton Order of Eastern Star before moving to Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry K. Beitsch.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Ermalynn and Larry Kiehl, and Karen Beitsch; seven grandchildren, Harry Beitsch Jr., Barbara and John Jackson, Larry Kiehl Jr., Daneene and Phil Jackson, and Asya Beitsch, and four great-grandchildren, Mandy, Cyndi, Morgan and Donna Jackson.
Friends are welcome to call Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at BATCHELOR BROTHERS MONACA, 998 Atlantic Ave. Friends are invited to meet at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Chapel Saturday morning, Nov. 10, 2001, where a committal service will be held at 10 a.m. The Rev. Greg Clagg, of the Rochester Grace Lutheran Church, will officiate.
