Earl Glen Long was the son of Malty
Eldridge Long and Rosa 'Dalton' Long.
He was the grandson of Napoleon Bradford
Long and Sarah Elizabeth 'Bohannon' Long.

Earl was one of 3 children:
Lester Bernice- b. Jul 13,1907 d. Dec. 7,1908
Stella Maria-b. Aug. 27,1907 d. Dec. 6,1917
Earl Glen b. Jan. 15,1912 d. Feb. 26,1973
Lester was a little over one year old
when he died. Stella was about the age of
10 when she died.
Earl's parents were divorced The 10th day of June, 1918 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, America.

His father, Malty, later remarried and Earl Glen had 3 half sibblings: His father moved to Texas and met and married Mrs. Myrtle 'Capps' Gathings Long. The couple had 3 children: Malty Eldridge Jr. born in 1920 and died in 1925. Also a baby sister named Myrtle, born and died the same day in 1925 and a half brother named Henry, who
was born in 1923 and died at the age of 16.
All 3 of his half sibblings are buried in the Llano Cemetery, in Amarillo, Texas.

His father and Myrtle had at one time moved to Colorado,
they were living in Pueblo, Colorado in 1919.
It's believed, after her death, Malty had moved
back to Oklahoma and again was remarried the last
and final time.
Malty married Flora Morgan on Dec. 13, 1946 in the Linwood Methodist Church, and by Rev. W.C. Mathis.
NOTE: Research will continue to learn more about this
union.

Earl and his mother, Rosa, moved to
California a time after the divorce.
He was raised there and continued to
live in California through out his life.

Earl married Viola 'Bradford' on Feb. 26, 1933
in South Gate, California.
They were the parents of 4 children:
3 sons and 1 daughter
Raymond Earl
Glen Eldridge
Dave Joe
Mina Marie
