Mr. Mooring, a native of Wilson County, was the son of the late Swift Mooring. He was a US Army veteran and a maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa B. Mooring of the home, two daughters, Brittany Sue Mooring of Clinton, Rhonda Nichole M. Harper of Kinston, three stepdaughters all of Clinton, Ashley Michelle Tyndall, Jennifer Lynn Tydall and Tiffany Marie Tyndall. A grandson, Phillip Arthur Bass of Clinton. His mother, Juanita W. Enzor and stepfather, Dr. Floyd Enzor of Fair Bluff, a sister, Marie Clark and husband, Mike of Greenville, a brother, Carson Ray Mooring and wife, Cheryl of New Bern, four nieces and nephews, Kevin, Jackie, Christi and Jody, a stepbrother, Benny Enzor and a stepsister, Lynn Wood and children.
The family recieved friends on Saturday, September 1, 2007 from 6-8pm at the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton.
A graveside service was held at 4pm, Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Boyette Family Cemetery on Keener Road with Dr. Floyd Enzor (Bennie's stepfather) officiating.
Burial was made in the cemetery.
