PFC. U.S. Marines, Cold War-Pfc. Snider was killed in an auto accident in Greenville, North Carolina on 1-13-1948 while serving in the Artillery Unit at Camp LeJeune Marine Base in North Carolina.

He is the son of Mr. Commodore and Mrs. Hazel L. Snider of Hanna City, Illinois. He leaves two brothers, and four sisters.

Awards: National Defense Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal.
