Mrs. Lela Zook, 76, Ridgeville, route 3 died at 7 am Wednesday at the Randolph County Hospital. She had been seriously ill for one week. Mrs .Zook lived five and one half miles north of Winchester on State road 27.
Born June 3, 1889, at Muncie, Mrs Zook had lived at Keystone, Ind., before moving to Randolph County in 1922. Her husband Joe Zook died in 1958.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James Spade of Winchester, One son Ernest Wysong, of Doniphan, Mo.; two step daughters, Mrs. Arthur Armantrout of Bryant, and Mrs. Howard Garringer of Ridgeville, and seventeen grand children.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm at the Maynard and Walker funeral home, Winchester, with the rev. Zelma Mills officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Park cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Thursday.
