Carol L. Berg of St. Helen, Michigan, entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in Eastpointe, Michigan. She was 61 years old. She was born on August 17, 1949 in Detroit, the daughter of Jeremiah and Edna (nee: Reaume) Clancy.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She poured her heart into nurturing her family and creating the "comforts of home" as only a mother could do. Her grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart with a love that was immeasurable. She truly enjoyed spoiling them...as only a grandmother could do.

Along with her loving duties as Homemaker and Mom, for many years, Carol was the owner and proprietor of her own porcelain doll business called "Kitty's Kidds." When a little free time presented itself, one of her favorite escapes meant a trip to the casino. She was also known for her wonderful conversational skills and how much she loved to visit with the people who passed through her life. She could talk with anyone, and often did so for hours on end.

Though her life was full with the love of family, there was one other that stole her heart...her dog, "Yorkie." For over 14 years, they shared that special bond between an owner and their pet, and he was truly part of the family picture. She adored Yorkie and enjoyed his company until this past June when the compelling decision was made to put him to sleep.

Carol had a heart as big as the moon, and love as big as the universe. The lives she touched were many and the care she exuded was that of a saint. The legacy she leaves behind, and the loving moments shared, will be the heart of the memories that will keep her forever close.

Carol was the beloved wife of Robert. She was the dear mother of Holly (Dan) Jablonski and Wendy Berg; Loving granadmother of Zachary, Brendan, Payton, and Nicholas; Sister of Sharon (Gerry) Rogers, Elaine Schrout, and Jeremiah (Josie) Clancy.

Memorial Visitation: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 9:30am until the time of her service at 11:00am, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren.

Inurnment: Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
