John Andrews Fowler, Sr had two wives...Emilla Ann Faulk, born about 1840 in Alabama. They had six children before he married Margaret Ann Pauline Cox. He was born in Pike Co, AL before migrating to Union Parish, LA with his father, Lewis Fowler. He later moved to Jackson Parish where he lived with Emilla. He owned land in Ouachita Parish, LA and subsequently moved to West Carroll Parish, and is buried near the community of Darnell, LA.

As of this date, March 6, 2015, a grave for either wife has not been found. Some have reported Margaret Ann Pauline is buried in same cemetery, but I've never seen her headstone.
