Joseph W. Uziel, 73, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Monday, January 15th, at his home. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and was a lifelong resident. Joe was employed for Owens Corning Fiberglas Company for over 25 years, and would have officially retired on February 1st. He also had been employed as a bartender for over 17 years, rubbing elbows with many movie stars. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Joe was an avid fisherman, boating enthusiast and gardener.

Joe was survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma; four children, Brenda, Connie, Joseph and Kevin; a sister, Frances Schweder, of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Walter Uziel of Bonner Springs and Frank Uziel of Mission, Kansas; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family received friends on Wednesday evening at the Skradski Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday morning, January 18th, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
