James H. Freeman, 40, LaPuente, Calif, died at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Medical Center where he had been a patient one day after suffering an apparent heart attack at a local truck stop.
Mr. Freeman was driving a truck from the East Coast to Houston, Tex. through Joplin. He was employed by the Danny Herman Trucking Company of Valinda, Calif.
The body will be sent to Rose Hills Memorial Park at Whittier, Calif., for services. Local arrangements are under direction of Thornhill - Dillon Mortuary.
