"Death has been in our midst and claimed Mrs. J. W. KEY from among us. Mrs. Key had been in poor health for some time and she seemed to get much better and Sunday Feb. 23 she went up to her daughter's, Mrs. Wm. Combs. She seemed to take suddenly worse Tuesday afternoon and passed away in a few minutes at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Combs, who was the only one present when she died. Mrs. Key was 69 years old and leaves an aged husband, two sons Walter and Ben, and one daughter, Mrs. William Combs and one grandson, Roscoe, whom she reared from infancy together with several other grandchildren to mourn her loss. The funeral services were conducted Friday, by Rev. Rogers at the Combs home and she was laid to rest in the Neal Cemetery. We extend sympathy.
