Clara Belle Landis Key was born in Illinois March 28, 1865 and died March 13, 1947 at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 13 days.
She came to Kansas with her mother in 1885. She was united in marriage to Walter J Key November 25, 1888 and to this union 8 children were born, one son dying in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death February 1, 1939.
She leaves to mourn her death 2 sons and 5 daughters, Bessie L. Taylor, Eureka; Lula B. Taylor, Yates Center; Ivy M. Rice, Mendota, California; Pearl N. Bonnette, Eureka; Roy W. Key, Eureka; Ernest W. Key, Toronto; and Ruby F. Higbee, Severy; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Key was a kind and loving mother and wife. She had many friends and was always ready to help anyone in need.
