Age 71, of Westminster, died at Carroll County General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Little Gesell. She was the sister of the late George Luther Gesell.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Deer Park, and the Ladies Aid Society.
She is survived by her husband Guy W. Owings; daughters Phyllis Menchey and Gayle Shanaberger, both of Westminster; Fay Owings of Smallwood; sons Carl G. of New York City, Neal N. of Hampstead, and Wayne B. of Westminster; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
