William Joseph McCoy
William Joseph "Bill" McCoy of Burnet passed away June 30, 2004.
He was born January 10, 1936, the son of William Clayton and Drusilla
Bealmer McCoy. He retired from the Texas Highway Department where he wore
many hats. Livestock was his special interest. He also enjoyed preaching and
teaching as a member of the West Oaks Church of Christ and loved being with
his family. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Everett McCoy; daughters,
Melony Jan Constanzo and husband Tim, of San Antonio, Texas; sons, William
Randall McCoy and his wife Rebecca, of Orange, Texas, and Terry Glen McCoy
and his wife Rebecca, of Georgetown, Texas; seven grandchildren, Heather,
Kenney, Wendy, Hannah, and Claire McCoy, and Cullen and Cassie Constanzo;
mother, Drusilla McCoy; sisters, Irene Brown and Margaret Vanaman, both of
Burnet, Texas, and Mary Lanningham, of Arkansas; and a brother, Jim McCoy,
of Burnet, Texas. Funeral services were Friday, July 2 at 10 a.m. at
Clements-Wilcox Chapel in Burnet, with Dan Shipley and Mike Gentry
officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral
Home of Burnet. Memorials may be made to CASA at P.O. Box 1868, Kingsland,
Texas 78639.
