Kenneth was the son of Elza John Welch and Edna B. Poindexter Welch. He married Ethel (Sally) May Skelton on 20 Jul 1939 at Pierce City, Lawrence Co., Missouri.
He is survived by his wife and three sons and five daughters, Virginia "Ginger" (Jack) Mock, Lenexa, Kan., Kenneth "Bill" (Sunny) Welch, Alba, Texas, Joyce (Larry) Cawood, Longview, Texas, Judy (Dennis) Holmes, Lexington, Texas, Herman Welch ,Carthage, Midge (Joe) Brown, Bentonville, Ark., Bruce Welch, Joplin, Mo., Alice (John)Lewandowski, Joplin; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores (George)Arner and Bonnie Mers, two brothers, George and Jay Welch , all of Carthage.
