Arthur Henry Carl Krueger was the oldest son of Augusta Wilhelmine and John Henry Krueger. Arthur Henry was born on 02 December 1905 in Sherwood, Renville County, North Dakota. He married Christina Marie Reichenbach on 18 September 1947 in Polk County, Minnesota. Christina was born on 18 May 1910, in Manyaska, Martin County, Minnesota, to Christian Joseph Reichenbach and Mary Ann (Yost) Reichenbach. Christian Joseph Reichenbach was born in Darmstadt, Darmstadt Hessen, Germany. He died on 14 October 1952 in Fosston, Polk County, Minnesota.

Arthur Henry Carl Krueger was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and attended rural school near Gary and Mahnomen, Minnesota.

Arthur Henry served his country as a member of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He enlisted in 1942 and served in the Far Eastern Campaign as an aircraft mechanic on the P-40, P-47, and P-51 aircraft. He was stationed with the 78th Fighter Squadron in Hawaii (Oahu and Kauai), the Midway Islands, Saipan, and Iwo Jima. Arthur Henry was honorably discharged in 1946.

Survivors included his wife, Christina; two daughters, Shelby Jean (Delbert) Fish of Babbitt, Minnesota, and Elaine Marie Krueger of Burnsville, Minnesota; two sons, Sheldon (Shirley) Krueger of Glenview, Illinois, and Gary (Julie Ann) Krueger of Fosston, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy (Eithel) Onasch of Riverside, California, Edna (Vernon) Benson of Waubun, and Florence Sleeth of Fosston, Minnesota; three brothers, Harry of Detroit Lakes, Herbert of Gary, Minnesota, and Arnold of Bronsville-Bermerton, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arthur Henry was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister, Hilda, and one brother, Walter.

The funeral service for Arthur Henry Carl Krueger was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 19 August 1982, in Fosston, Polk County, Minnesota.
