MACON – Ramona "Mona" Barineau Spillers, 81, joined her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 13, 2010. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with burial at 1:30 p.m. in Roberta City Cemetery. The Rev. Luther Strickland and Bishop Bill Jones will officiate.

Mrs. Spillers, wife of the late Rev. Grover "Bubba" Sawyer Spillers, was born in Tallahassee, FL the daughter of the late Shelly Iceland Barineau and Margaret Octavia Woodard Barineau. She had lived in Macon most of her life and was a member of Wildwood Fellowship International Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended DayStar Church of God. Mrs. Spillers was a dedicated pastor's wife who fully supported the ministry of her husband, Rev. Spillers, who was the former pastor of Napier Avenue International Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served for thirty-years and at Wildwood Fellowship International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Eatonton.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed and cherished by her family….her children, Leralene Spillers (Lester) Dumas of Havana, FL and Derrell Lee (Shuree) Spillers, Sr. of Eatonton; grandchildren, Justin Andrew (Lesley) Dumas, Gina Marie (David) Senters, Derrell Lee (Kristi) Spillers, Jr. and Shelly Shuree (Josh) Raugh; great grandchildren, Sawyer Jackson Raugh, Margaret "Maggie" Ann Ida Raugh and Isabella "Bella" Reese Dumas; her sister, Murl Woods Putnam of Marianna, FL; her sisters-in-law, Mattie Clyde Parks of Reynolds and Gwendolyn Spillers of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
