Gloria J. Nutt, 82 of Sioux City, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at a Sioux City Hospital.
Private family services will be Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Allen Call officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Gloria J. Nutt was born Oct. 20, 1921, in Ashland, Neb., the daughter of J. Lloyd and Hattie D. (Weston) Wilson. She was raised near Ashland and graduated from Waverly High School.
She married James L. Nutt on July 5, 1945 in Lincoln, Neb.
She and her husband have lived in Sioux City since 1976.
Gloria enjoyed cooking, gardening and her family.
Survivors include her husband, James of Sioux City; a daughter and her husband Janice and Larry Petersen; a granddaughter and her husband Lori and John Meier and two great grandsons, Daniel and Zachary Meier, all of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bryce and Vance Wilson.
