Louise Pearl Pierson, 74, of Girard died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Virden, the daughter of Roy and Vivian Harbaugh Talkington. She married Harold W. Pierson in 1950 in Girard.
Mrs. Pierson was a homemaker and a baby sitter in her home for many years. She was a 1950 graduate of Girard High School and a member of Pleasant Dale Southern Baptist Church in rural Girard.
Survivors: husband, Harold; four sons, Marvin (wife, Barb) Pierson, Randy (wife, Sharon) Pierson and Marty Pierson, all of Girard, and Brad (wife, Leslie) Pierson of Newark, Texas; daughter, Barb (husband, Doug) Hardin of Girard; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bud (wife, Marilyn) Talkington and Earl (wife, Helen) Talkington, both of Girard, and Rob (wife, Modine) Talkington of Wrigley, Tenn.; sister, Hazel Byers of Lake Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, the Rev. Darrell Molen and the Rev. Paul Woods officiating. Burial: Girard Cemetery.
