Don Larrimore Peterson of Vallejo passed away unexpectedly at the age of 59 on July 14, 2010. He was born on Feb 10, 1951 in Port Chester, NY to Frank and Sandra Peterson and was raised in Greenwich, CT and Danville, CA.
Don attended Danville schools and graduated from Monte Vista High School, after which he entered the US Army for a period of six years.
He was an avid reader of history, science and science fiction and often shared a love of cooking with his family.
Don is also remembered for his love of words and quick wit.
Don is survived by his beloved daughter, Desiree Clabaugh of Oklahoma; Grandchildren Rylee, Demri and Trevor, parents Frank and Sandra Peterson of Grass Valley, CA, sisters Susan (Jim) Brenan of Salem, OR, Beth Peterson of Brentwood, CA and Lynn (Kelly) Webb of Santa Rosa, CA.
Don was preceded in death by his son Trevor Larrimore, Long-time Companion Katherine Makepeace, and her daughter Martha Makepeace. A burial service with military honors will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA
