My mother always referred to her Uncle as "Jack" and didn't think he'd ever married (but apparently he was, at least for a little while). She also told me he had red hair. I suspect his middle name is for Hamilton E. Brooke, the recently married (November 1, 1901) husband of Amelia's sister Annie. We have very few pictures of Jack (and mostly when he was young). I never met him, but I was only 9 when he died & he didn't really keep in close touch with my mom's family...
