Samuel Jamieson, 80, of 61 German Street, died inthis city Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Phoenicia, he was the son of the late William and Catherine Brannen Jamieson. He had been employed as a night watchman at Fessenden Shirt Company but was retired at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, the former Goldie Trowbridge; a daughter, Mrs. Lula Murray of Kingston; a son John Jamieson of Kingston; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bruckner, Kingston; 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 27 Smith Avenue, Friday 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Krumville Cemetery. Friends may call tonight 7 to 9 and Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
