Rose Mary Conrady Greenwell, 63, Bardstown, died Tuesday Sept. 7, 2010, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas, a homemaker, a member of Old Kentucky Home Women's Golf League, Women of the Moose, and St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Louis Conrady; a brother, Ronald Conrady; and twin granddaughters, Amanda and Lisa Greenwell. Survivors include her husband, Don Greenwell; two daughters, Christine (D. A.) Slaughter, Frankfort and Cindy (Jim) Ballard, Bardstown; two sons, Richard (Maria) Greenwell, Memphis, Tenn., and Michael (Becky) Greenwell, Bardstown; three grandchildren, Patrick Waskom and Megan Greenwell, both of Bardstown, and Allen Slaughter, Frankfort; two brothers, Leonard Conrady, Garden Plain, KS, and John Conrady, Wichita, KS; five sisters, Betty Kronawitter of Shawnee, KS, Birdie Harkness, Wichita, KS, Anita Pauly, Conway Springs, KS, Diane Bjorkland, Wichita, KS, and Dorothy Terhune, Conway Springs, KS. The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Graf will officiate. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m. with Deacon John Hamilton. Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
