Stella Louise Thomas Cox age 74 of Kingston passed away Tuesday June 22, 2010. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Grace Baptist Church in Harriman. Was the Circuit Court Clerk of Roane County for eight years and had retired in 1994. Prior to her election as clerk, she worked in the Roane County Courthouse for over thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Thomas and sister, Elsie White.

Funeral 8pm Friday June 25, 2010 in the Kyker Chapel with the Rev. David Gamble officiating. Burial 10am Saturday at Kingston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Friday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
