Notes: born Ladbergen, Kreis Tecklenburg, Bezirk Muenster, Königreich Preussen, Europe; emigrated with her parents to America in 1844 and they settled in Dubois county; matted Gerhardt Steinkamp in 1853; seven children blessed this union of whom three survive her.
