Former Resident Dies Following Auto Accident

Ella (Freeze) Eatherton, 51, 200 Harper Lane, Midland, died Friday, June 17, as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident that happened in Hay Twp., Gladwin County. Dale Eatherton her husband, who she married two years ago, also died in the same accident.

She was born on May 17, 1915 in Mt. Pleasant where she was raised and attended school.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eatherton were held today in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints in Midland with Robert Campbell officiating. Interment was in the Midland Cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Eatherton are her mother, Mrs. Louise Nixon, Mt. Pleasant; one son Ronnie Freeze of Missouri and a daughter, Barbara Anthony, of Midland; one brother, Jake Nixon, three sisters, Sabra Thomas, Violet Eaton and Thelma Fate all of Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral arrangements were made by Ware Smith Funeral Home in Midland.
