Most of the time this family went by the surname of Johnson. His parents were born in Denmark and changed the name when they came to the U.S. However, the headstones say Jorgensen.

Robert Christian has also been listed as Christian Robert.

He died in Algoma rather than Oshkosh, but Algoma is not in Find A Grave's list.

Robert C. Johnson, 64, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home in the town of Algoma. He had been in failing health for the last few years.
Mr. Johnson was born in Oshkosh, Aug. 1, 1872. He moved with his parents to the home at which he died when he was 2 years old and had lived there since that time.
He was married to Miss Laura Hansen, of Oshkosh, July 29, 1908.
Survivors are his wife: one son, Henry Johnson; a brother, John P. Johnson, Dallas, Tex.; and a nephew and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home in the town of Algoma and at 2:15 o'clock at Our Savior's English Lutheran Church. The Rev. Gudmund C. Pederson will be the officiating clergyman. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the home Sunday afternoon and until the time of the services.
