He taught business, acounting, shorthand, typing,etc... He was the son of John W. Hunter and Cora Goldtrap. He had 2 sisters, Willie Ann, and Mattie Lou Hunter. He married Maggie Ruth Lowery. They had 4 children, John Vance, Jerry michael, Larry Phillip, and Carolyn Faye Hunter. James Hunter was a generous and kind hearted man.
