Obituary: Mrs. Addell Pierce Hall, 101, a resident of Brookhaven, passed away at her home on December 14, 2014. She was born in Claiborne County, MS on June 7, 1913, the daughter of Hiram E. Pierce and Anna Caldonia Varnado Pierce.

Mrs. Hall was a retired cafeteria worker having worked at McCall Creek School and Franklin County School cafeterias. She was a member of McCall Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R. K. Hall; daughter-in-law, Patsy Day Hall; son-in-law, Paul C. Gill; three brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Hall is survived by one daughter, Doris Gill of Brookhaven; two sons, Ernest H. Hall and wife Frances of Brookhaven; Jessie R. Hall and wife Mary Janet of Kenner, LA; one sister, Gladys Marie Hynum of Vicksburg, MS; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 33 Great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved Chihuahua dog “Belle”.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church cemetery, Franklin County, MS Visitation will be from 5 pm – 8 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven, MS.
