Martha was the daughter of John Butler and Celia Sidebottom. She married Macy Jaggers ca. 1904 and together they had 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. Martha became ill and passed away at the young age of 32. The children for whatever reason, were abandoned by Macy. Some of them, including my dad Everett, was raised by his sister Opal and her husband Elzie Thompson. Dad also spent time with Elzie's brother Walker and his wife. Oscar went to live in Larue County with another relative.
