Funeral Services for Mr. Hurshal Lee Rigdon will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home of Olla, LA. with Rev. LaVurl Shell officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery of Olla . Mr. Rigdon , 86, of Olla, was born to the union of Mr. Henry Thomas Rigdon and Annie Mae Rigdon in Ashland and passed from this life on Monday, September 21, 2009, in Citizens Medical Center of Columbia. He was retired as a crane operator in the oilfield. He is a veteran having served with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Lois Jones Rigdon of Olla. Sons, Michael Rigdon of Olla; Charles Rigdon of Dallas, TX. Daughter, Debbie Estis of Olla. 7 Grandchildren, Steve Barbo, Tommy Barbo, Chris Barbo, Gary Barbo, Patrick Estis, Charlie Rigdon, and Chris Dunn. 7 great-grandchildren, Morgan Barbo, Britton Barbo, Julie Barbo, Tucker Barbo, Eli Barbo, Allen Barbo, and Kimber Barbo. Pallbearers will be Steve Barbo, Tommy Barbo, Gary Barbo, Allen Barbo, Scott Meredith, and Tony Westbrooks. Honorary pallbearers will be his great grandkids. Visitation will be in the chapel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, September 22 and from 8:00 am until time of services on Wednesday.
