Daughter of Bernhard Heinrich and Maria (Kabbes) Ojemann. She married Louis Thiel on January 4, 1868, in Houston. After her death, Louis remarried, but their children were raised by their maternal aunt, Margaretha (Margaret) Ojemann Stegemann, who lived on Preston Street in Houston.
