MRS. MINNIE ADA WOLFINGER, Jefferson Boulevard, died at Martin Manor Convalescent Home Sunday at 4:10 p.m. after an illness of three years.
The widow of Jacob Wolfinger, she had taught in the public schools of Hagerstown for 30 years. She began her teaching career at Broadway, and moved to Woodland Way when the latter school was opened. She retired in 1948.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, The DAR and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Born in Orange, Va., she was daughter of James and Dora (Harlow) Richard.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn McDowell, Waynesboro, and a sister, Mrs. Ora Bell, Halfway, and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Suter Funeral Home where friends may call Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. William M. Norment officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
