A lifelong resident of Nazareth, he was born on Aug. 18, 1904, a son of Herbert and Hattie Hunter Beil.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church; Whitfield Council, F. and A.M.; Aluta Camp, Odd Fellows and Bushkill Encampment and the Charmer of Commerce, all of Nazareth. He ran an electrical store in Nazareth with his father.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Kostenbader Beil; three brothers, Lester of Nazareth; Harold of Nazareth, Rt. 2, and Carl of Wind Gap, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Koehler, Nazareth, Rt. 2.
Funeral Services 2:30 pm, Wednesday at Knecht Funeral Home, Belvidere and Whitfields St., Nazareth. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.
