MRS ADKINS DIES
MRS. OTIS ADKINS SUCCUMBS AFTER BIRTH OF SON
Eva Mae, daughter of Arthur and Mona Ferguson, was born at Kearney, Neb., August 9, 1917, and passed away suddenly August 24, 1943, at Minneapolis, Kansas, following the birth of a son. Her mother passed away in 1919, when Eva Mae was but two years of age; and she made her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Ferguson in Minneapolis, for several years following her mother's death.
She graduated from Minneapolis high school with the class of 1936, and on June 17, 1937, was united in marrieage to Otis Adkins of Delphos, who with a daughter, Barbara Ann, and the infant son, survives. Others left to mourn are the father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ferguson of Minneapolis; a half-brother, Pvt. Wm Ferguson of Los Angeles, Calif., her grandparens, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Ferguson of Minneapolis; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Minneapolis this morning ( Thursday ), at 10:30 o'clock, with the Rev. A.B. Madison in charge. Interment was made in the Minneapolis Cemetery.
Her Grandparents are Robert and Flora Ferguson buried in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, Ottawa Co., Kansas
