COPELAND Della Nadine, (Umphlet), died on Friday, April 24, 1998, at her home of 40 years, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 93. She was born September 16, 1904, in Saline County, Missouri. Her parents were Minnie Harris (Akeman) Umphlet and Alpha John Umphlet. She graduated from Business College in Sadalia, Missouri in 1927 and married Lionel Copeland on July 14, 1929, in Oklahoma City, OK, where they made their home. She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church in Oklahoma City, OK, a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 35, N.S. DWR, N.S. Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, National Society, Daughters of 1812, National Society of the Huguenots, Magna Charra Dames, and seven other Heritage Societies not named above.
