He was born in Leaf in 1915 and was a member and deacon of the Leaf Baptist and Methodist Church. He was a retired foreman at Masonite Corp. He died July 5 at Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, three daughters, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother (now deceased Walter McLeod) of Mobile, AL., and three sisters, (one now deceased Alberta Reach).
He was preceded in death by his parents Florence Herrin and Robert Frank McLeod.
Services were conducted by Dr. David Johnson and Rev. Edwards. Interment was in the Leaf Cemetery with Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. of Leakesville in charge of arrangements.
