Also surviving four sons, Timothy (Julie) and Ronald (Nanette), all Wapakoneta, Dave (Kim), Rochester, WA, and John, Uniopolis; three daughters, Rebecca (Dale) Dicus, Wapakoneta, Leanne (Mike) Thompson, Ridgeway, and Suzanne (Scott) Lovejoy, Cridersville; six brothers, Robert (Marilyn), Albert (Connie), Kenneth (Sandy, Philip (Rachel), Richard and Mike (Kim) Klaus; five sisters, Phyllis (George) Seffernick, Louise Renner, Rosemary (Jerry) Hesseling, Dorothy (Doug) Geise, and Cheryl (Joe) Theabold.
Deceased are a sister Ceceila Klaus; a brother-in-law Robert Renner; and one great granddaughter.
He was a 1958 graduate of Spencerville High School. In 1968 he began farming in Allen and Auglaize counties. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Spencerville. He was also employed as a backhoe operator for Tuttle Construction in Lima.
Services were at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta, Rev. Steven Nelson, officiating.
