Wallace Scott DuVall son of Elias L and Amanda Scott Duvall was born November 28, 1874 in Shelby County, Ohio.

Wallace Scott DuVall worked for three years on the home farm and then became a commercial traveler for the Standard Company of Detroit, Michigan and later the Page Fence Company of Adrian, Michigan. He then returned to the family farm and raised stock and did general farming.

Wallace married Clara Faulder March 17, 1894 and she died on September 19, 1900. Clara and Wallace had two children Hazel Marie and Bertha I. In 1902 Wallace Scott married Miss Ella M. Blue a daughter of Henry Blue. They were the parents of Anna Mabel DuVall. Wallace belonged to the Knights of Pythias Lodge at Maplewood, Ohio as did his father Elias.
