Falmouth-Leisha Alura Tarbox, 27, of Falmouth and formerly of Old Orchard Beach, passed away early Sunday morning on August 15, 2010 in Saco.
She was born in Portland on April 15, 1983, a daughter of Stephen Tarbox and Wanda Prokey Labbe.
She graduated from South Portland High School, class of 2001.
Leisha was employed as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at New England Rehabilitation Center in Portland for 5 years. She was also a student at S.M.C.C. in the Cardio Vascular Technology Program.
Leisha was happy, adventurous and full of life. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that would light up an entire room. She was known as a loving and giving person who always put others before herself. Leisha was also very artistic and creative.
She is survived by her paternal grandfather Robert Tarbox and maternal grandmother Esther Prokey; Her father – Stephen R. Tarbox and his partner Deborah Harriman of Buxton; Her mother – Wanda Prokey Labbe and her husband Daniel of Alfred; Her sister – Ashley A. Tarbox of South Portland; 2 step brothers – Dustin Carroll of Scarborough; Nicholas Carroll of Texas; 1 niece – Alexis Burger;
Visiting Hours will be from 5-8PM Wednesday at Cote Funeral Home, corner of Beach and James Streets, Saco. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Thursday at Laurel Hill Cemetery Chapel.
