Howard "Butch" Ables Jr., 51, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on August 15, 2010 after a painful battle with cancer.

He is reunited with his daddy, Howard Ables Sr.; and his mother, Zella "Tency" Ables; and brother, Tommy James Ables.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Patricia "Trisha" Ables; son, Howard "Chip" Ables III; four other children, Amanda Ables, Rene Padgett, Becky Ables and Josh Ables; stepchildren, Dustin and Derik Bell; six grandchildren; dedicated brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Skip" and Tammy Ables; special niece, Jessica Ables, several other special nieces and nephews; darling twin great-nephews, Lucas and Kanin.

Butch, we are only apart for a little while, you're gone but not ever forgotten. We love you and will miss you till we see you again.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN.
