Lawrence A. Weber was born to Barbara Meyers and Lawrence Weber II on Nov. 16, 1861 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. While he would be living in Buffalo in 1865, he would, by 1880, be back in Brooklyn.

In 1885 he married Helen M. Williams. He would have four children with her, all with the last name of Weber before 1897: Helen M. (1888-1930), Katherine Ruth (1889-1970), Louise (1889-1946), and Lawrence J. (1893-1933). On Jan. 2, 1897, Lawrence Weber II, his father, would die. In the years that would follow, him and Helen would have three more children: Hortense Marion (1898-1971), Eugene J. (1901-1965), Paul A. (1909-1970). In 1917, after living in Brooklyn for many years as the head of a coal company, Weber & Quinn, his mother, Barbara, would die.

He would continue to live in Brooklyn until 1942 when he died. Predeceasing him were his son Lawrence J. in 1933 and Helen in 1930.
