Ethel M. Surber, 81, of Pindall died Saturday, June 5 (2004) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 at Holt Memorial Chapel with Dennis Sisco officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 7 at the chapel.
Burial will be in Kilburn Cemetery at Pindall with Billy Wyatt, Alan Wyatt, Troy Daniel, Garland Lewis, Claud Lewis, and Cotton Surber serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kyle Sisco, Scott Wyatt, Jerry Henson, Dean McAfee, Reta McAfee, and Brenda Oliver.
The daughter of James "Jim" W. and Millie (Smith) Surber was born Nov. 18, 1922 in Pindall. She was a member of the Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and enjoyed embroidering and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Alma Trammell.
She is survived by her brothers, Richard Surber and Loy Surber, both of the home; sisters, Iva Henson of Marshall, Lola Nichols of Pindall, and Goldie Lewis of Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
