Melvin O. Nees, age 60, died Sunday morning at his home north of Parkersburg after and extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Porter-Schaub Chapel in Olney Monday afternoon. Burial was at Marion cemetery in Edwards county.
July 30, 1907, he was united in marriage at Tahocin, Idaho, to Miss Lois Marshall of West Salem. To this union two daughters were born, Iris of Chicago and Gloria, at home.
The Nees had reside on a farm near Parkersburg for approximately 20 years.
